Backup selection for Amazon S3 transport

The implementation of an Amazon S3 backup is a nice addition for data safeguard.

However on large servers the transporter can take long before it has completed the transport resulting sometimes in decreased server performance.

My opinion is that not all backups need to be transported, thus saving bandwidth and storage costs.


I would like to see an enhanced S3 option panel where administrators could chose:

  • Accounts to be transported
  • Frequency of transport (daily, weekly, monthly)
