Apache access log rotation option to do by date rather than by size

It would be nice there was an option to rotate logs by date (such as nightly around midnight) rather than by size. It's nicer for finding past log entries if needing to analyze something. With the current setup, it's possible to use the file modification time I suppose, but it'd be nice if all of a day's log entries were in one file.
