Immediately view inbox on opening webmail with 2fa

As a cPanel Use , I would like to be able to log in to webmail from webmail.mydomain.com with 2fa enabled, and have webmail display my inbox immediately.

This would be more convenient than having to navigae to my inbox through webmail home.

Today I enabled 2fa on my webmail interface: I opened webmail (roundcube) then went to 'webmail home' (last/bottom option in the extreme left side menu), then 'Two factor authentication' under 'edit settings'. Then I followed all the standard steps to set up 2fa with my phone.

Before I did this, when I logged into webmail my inbox would open automatically. There is a setting for this behaviour in the webmail home settings (at the top -- a tick-box). Now that I've configured 2fa this doesn't happen -- opening my webmail opens the webmail home (i.e. the settings page). I have checked that the box is still ticked, and it is.

I contacted the tech support at my provider about this, and they told me that the combination of 2fa and seeing my inbox first isn't currently supported. Such support would be more convenient for me (and probably other users too).
