Global Email Filters in WHM

Spam is a massive problem for servers and users and uses up valuable server resources and data. If we can stop it at the server level then then this would make a lot of our clients happy and save valuable resources.

I have been managing a WHM / CPANEL VPS for 15yrs and one feature that is missing would make a world of difference to all users and data usage is Global Email Filters in WHM.

The idea is to be able to create Global email filters in WHM the same way that we can on a per domain basis in CPANEL. Once these master filters lists are created using the same fort as in CPANEL then we can simply assign the domains to use each list by simply checking a checkbox next to that domain.

These WHM master filters could also be connected to the Global email filters in CPANEL so that when a CPANEL user accesses the Global email filters they can have a choice to view these global lists and enable or disable a pre-defined list for their domain. This way server admin can have a few master lists and the CPANEL users can still either create their own of choose to use one or more of the existing WHM Global lists. This would create instant results is minimal effort.

This is a simple feature that would save an enormous amount of time for those of us with multiple domains.

The current way of doing this via CPANEL is OK if you are only managing one domain but doing this for many domains is a waist of time that webmaster and domain managers don't have.

I believe that is feature should be made a priority as I feel that it would have strong support from the community.
