Bind9.16

Hello,

We use prometheus and grafana to gather metrics from our hosts as well as our dns servers which use WHM DNSONLY. We tried to monitor the metrics from those DNS servers but they were not working properly as it does on our other dns servers. What we noticed was the host that worked properly collecting all the DNS metrics is that those hosts used bind version 9.16 and the current version installed on the WHM DNSONLY host have version 9.11. There is a known issue with collecting dns metrics with that version of bind version 9.11.

We tried to install and or update to version 9.16 and received the following error:

Problem: package cpanel-pdns-4.7.3-1.cp110~el8.x86_64 requires bind, but none of the providers can be installed

- package bind9.16-32:9.16.23-0.14.el8_8.1.x86_64 conflicts with bind provided by bind-32:9.11.36-8.el8.x86_64
- cannot install the best candidate for the job
- problem with installed package cpanel-pdns-4.7.3-1.cp110~el8.x86_64
(try to add '--allowerasing' to command line to replace conflicting packages or '--skip-broken' to skip uninstallable packages or '--nobest' to use not only best candidate packages)

From the conversations in ticket #95110338, it was suggested to submit a feature request and possibly upgrade the version of bind to 9.16 or higher.
