Always use the correct SSL certificate for webmail service subdomains
As web-hosting provider, I would like cPanel to use the correct SSL certificate for webmail and mail service subdomains when an e-mail account exists for that domain , so that e-mail users can receive their e-mail.
Currently if you add a domain in the Domain's interface there is no clear indication that the domain's SSL certificate won't be used for the webmail service subdomain if the user leaves "Share the public_html folder" ticked. If the user leaves it ticked he can still create e-mail account's for that domain but cPanel does not install that domain's SSL certificate on webmail.domain.tld.
I would like cPanel to check if :
- If e-mail accounts exist
- If the certificate covers the webmail and mail service subdomains
If both conditions are met then the SSL certificate should be used for both webmail and mail service subdomains for both Alias and Add-on domains.
