WP Toolkit Backups Feature

Feature request to add a feature similar to Softaculous WordPress Backup.

Softaculous has two backup options for selecting files/folders for backup:

  • Backup standard application files/folders (equivalent to current WordPress Toolkit)
  • Backup all files and folders inside installation directory excluding subdomains (from what I can tell, this is how WordPress Manager (deprecated) does it.

My feature request is for this second option, basically, returning WordPress Manager functionality.


We run several sites that include files and folders outside the main WordPress installation directory. Thanks for your consideration!
