backup external without consume local storage

i know cpanel / whm right know has feature to add external storage to backup using ftp or ssh or any other protocol.

however it cost a lot of local storage first, then transfer to external storage.

in this case, if u can make direct backup to remote storage without consume local storage would be good.. this feature already implemented under JetBackup software, yes maybe they use local storage first but not too much..then instantly transfer to external storage directly. so the local storage that they use to perfrom backup process is quite low...compared to cpanel engine backup mechanism.

in this case if we have whm server with limited local storage, we still able to perform backup without any low storage issue.
